Spiritual Name: Your Gift from the Guru
In this video Dr. Harjot Kaur speaks about the importance of one’s spiritual name, and how it is one of our main spiritual connections to the Guru and a reminder of your destiny as a Sikh. In western society many of us are pressured by our peers and people who might find it hard to pronounce and so a name like "Harjinder Singh" become "Harry"; just to please and make it easier for them. However it is our spiritual strength and identity, which Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji blessed us with and we should maintain.
